The Tottenham Hotspur hitman is one of Europe’s hottest commodities.
Spurs ace Harry Kane spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 3-0 FA Cup win over AFC Wimbledon yesterday, and insisted that he is happy at Tottenham amidst rumours linking him with a summer exit from the club, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old striker has been in sensational form for Tottenham this season, scoring 26 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions thus far, and establishing himself as arguably Europe’s most feared front-man in the process.
Unfortunately for the Lilywhites, his fine performances have not gone unnoticed, with both Real Madrid and Manchester United keen on signing him, according to Spanish publication Marca.
Kane, though, insisted that he is happy to stay at Spurs, when speaking to reporters, although he did suggest that they need to keep improving as a team for that to remain the case, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“I’ve always said what the club needs to do: keep progressing, keep getting better, start winning trophies. That’s the aim, as long as the club keep doing that then, yeah, I’m happy here.”
The problem for Tottenham is that their hopes of winning the Premier League are all but over, with 21 points separating them and league leaders Manchester City, so they might just have to win the Champions League, in order to convince Kane that his future lies in north London.
