Harry Kane has thanked Jose Mourinho on Instagram for ‘everything’ he has done after he was sacked by Tottenham on Monday.

Following Tottenham’s 2-2 draw with Everton on Friday, Daniel Levy took the bold decision to sack Mourinho before their League Cup final showdown with Manchester City on Sunday.

Amid the talk of the European Super League, Levy took the heat in the football kitchen to another level by parting ways with Mourinho.

And Kane, who has been a standout performer for Mourinho during his time at the club, sent this following message on his Instagram.

Kane netted a brace for Spurs at Goodison Park, in what was now Mourinho’s final game.

Before Mourinho arrived, some were questioning whether Kane would score enough goals under the so-called defensive-minded coach.

Well, given that Kane is currently the Premier League’s top scorer and assist-maker, he has put that one to bed.

And whilst Mourinho won’t be in the dugout for Tottenham’s clash with Southampton on Wednesday, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Kane is also absent.

He limped off for Tottenham during their draw on Merseyside and it has raised doubts about whether he will be fit and available for that Wembley clash.
