Tottenham Hotspur left it late to beat Newcastle United at Wembley.

Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to react to Spurs’ win over Newcastle at Wembley, which saw Son Heung-min score the game’s only goal during the final 10 minutes.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men looked set to be in for a frustrating afternoon against the determined Magpies, who would have been buoyed by a surprisingly-productive deadline day.
Spurs created the chances to win the game, but needed a sweet strike from Son in the 83rd minute to break the deadlock. A mistake from Martin Dubravka was also required as he failed to keep the forward’s effort out despite the shot fizzing right past him.
It was another important win for Tottenham, who came from behind to beat Watford in midweek. Pochettino is starting to get his key players back, with Son the latest to return to the side on Wednesday having spent much of January away on international duty.

And they were particularly grateful to him. The likes of Lucas Moura and Fernando Llorente missed some superb opportunities before the decisive goal.
And following the full-time whistle, Kane – who missed the game as he continues to work his way back towards full fitness – sent his teammates a message on social media to congratulate them on the hard-fought win.
