Spurs won 1-0 through a second half goal from Heung-Min Son, recording a vital away victory.
After losing their opening group game 2-1 to AS Monaco, the pressure was on, and an injury depleted Tottenham delivered.

Kane was among the players missing after picking up an ankle injury a fortnight ago, and was clearly watching on with huge interest.
He sent a message on Twitter immediately after the final whistle, expressing his sheet delight.
Kane is progressing well in his recovery from injury, and is likely to feature in the remaining group games.
He will be needed, with the deputising Vincent Janssen putting in a disappointing display in his absence.
Spurs are just one point off the top of their group, with Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco drawing 1-1.
