Harry Kane enjoyed a sensational September for Tottenham Hotspur to claim the Premier League Player of the Month award.

Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to express his delight at being named the Premier League Player of the Month for September, but insisted that he has his teammates to thank for the award.
Kane bounced back from a lean August in sensational fashion last month. The 24-year-old scored six goals throughout the month in the top flight to help Spurs to three wins and one draw.

The run included 10 goals in total for Mauricio Pochettino’s men and just two goals conceded to help them put themselves into the title equation heading into October.
Unsurprisingly however, Kane was the man who won the accolade for the month, having spearheaded Tottenham’s brilliant form.

Since scoring for the first time this term, Kane has bagged an astonishing 15 goals in 10 games for club and country, including nine in his last five.
But while Kane suggested on Twitter that he was pleased to win the award, he insisted that his teammates deserve much of the credit for his success, and expressed his hope that October will prove as fruitful for him.
Kane may well have to maintain his amazing form if he wants to get close to matching his achievements from September, as after Bournemouth this weekend, Tottenham will face the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United before the month finishes.
