Andy Cole has said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is starting to lose his pace.
The former Manchester United striker has said that Kane is a very intelligent footballer.
The pundit has noted how Kane has modified his game so that his apparent lack of pace does not hinder him now.
Cole said, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “Kane is very intelligent. He drops in even more so now because he has lost a half-yard of pace.
“You won’t see Kane going one v one against a defender. He would rather drop deep and let the wide man go beyond him.”
Big player for Tottenham Hotspur
Kane was never really the quickest of players, but as Cole notes, the England international striker is a very intelligent footballer.
The striker’s movement with and without the ball is very clever.

The 28-year-old also makes space for himself and can hold off defenders.
Yes, Kane is not scoring in the Premier League at the moment, but the Tottenham no. 10 bagged a hat-trick in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
Another thing to note about Kane’s game is his ability to drop deep and creates chances for his teammates.
The England international striker gave 14 assists in the Premier League last season.
And he also scored 23 goals.
Tottenham will take on Aston Villa in the Premier League today.
There is every chance that the striker will score a goal or two.
