The Sun are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno will tell Daniel Levy to sell Manchester City target Harry Kane if he makes it clear to him that he does not want to play for Spurs.
What’s the story?
Premier League champions City are interested in signing Kane from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
The England international striker has reported for training and will hold a meeting with Nuno over his future this week.
If Kane says to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss that he wants to leave, then Nuno will push for his exit and will tell Levy to sell him.
That’s because the Portuguese boss only wants players in his squad who are committed to the team and want to be at the club.
Nuno is reportedly losing patience with Kane over the transfer saga.

Understandable stance
You can understand Nuno’s reported stance.
All managers want to have players who are committed to the cause and want to be at the club.
Nuno is no different.

Of course, Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is arguably the best player at Spurs.
However, Nuno is the head coach, and his wishes should be respected by the Tottenham hierarchy.
It will be interesting to see if Nuno does tell Levy to sell Kane and what the Tottenham chairman subsequently does.
