Jamie O’Hara has given his take on Sky Sports News (11:37am, August 2, 2021) on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane not turning up for training at Hotspur Way today.
As reported by Sky Sports, Kane has decided not to show up for training at Tottenham this morning.
The 28-year-old striker was expected to return for pre-season training today following his involvement with England at Euro 2020 this summer.
Former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara has said that City should now get on the phone to Kane.
The Daily Star have reported that City are prepared to pay £120 million for Kane, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants £160 million.
O’Hara said on Sky Sports News (11:37am, August 2, 2021): “If he is making a stance and he is not coming back, that’s bad news for Spurs.”
The Englishman added: “I would be on the phone to him, at Man City I would be on the phone to Harry Kane right now and say, ‘Right, you have made a stance, let’s get this done’.”

Encouraging for Manchester City
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is very popular among the Tottenham fans.
After all, the 28-year-old has come through the Tottenham youth system and has been banging in the goals for fun for the first team for several years now.

The striker deciding not to show up for Tottenham training is encouraging for City.
It gives them a clear signal that he wants to leave Spurs and wants to move to City.
As for Tottenham, they need to get active now and start looking for a suitable replacement for Kane.
