The Tottenham Hotspur star is expected to be fit for his side’s next Premier League game; away to Arsenal. And how they missed him against the Foxes.

Ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match with Leicester City, Harry Kane sent out a tweet that he had completed training and hoped his teammates got the win against last season’s title rivals.
As it turned out, Spurs had to settle for a point in an entertaining but frustrating 1-1 draw with the Premier League champions, underlining that Kane’s return can’t come soon enough.
It is important to keep in mind that Tottenham have now been without their talismanic striker for five Premier League matches and nine games in total. Though Spurs have managed to avoid defeat in the league so far, they have won less than half of those matches in all competitions, and have failed to score from open play in four matches.

With Spurs missing last season’s Premier League top scorer, it is no surprise that Tottenham’s goal threat would have dwindled somewhat. Vincent Janssen had a decent game today against the Foxes, scoring from the spot and going close on several other occasions, but this was a game crying out for a confident Harry Kane. It could be argued that Mauricio Pochettino and his side have done well to stay unbeaten and in the mix for the top four, while the win over Manchester City may have been made possible due to the switch in playing style that his absence allowed.
What is very apparent however is that Tottenham have missed a game changer during their last three league matches, someone to pull something out of the bag and grab a goal that looked like it wouldn’t come.

A Kane on form is certainly someone that can do that, though perhaps not to the extent of the most explosive stars in the Premier League.
However, Pochettino and all associated with the White Hart Lane outfit will be eager to see him available as soon as possible, as Spurs recorded their third straight draw.
Next up for Spurs, a trip to Arsenal. And the England international is expected to be available.
