Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told Twitch TV that Newcastle United’s St. James’ Park is the stadium he most looks forward to visiting.
Kane was asked by PieFace, during a question and answer session, where he most liked visiting.
And it was Newcastle’s home ground which took the acclaim, partly due to the passion of their supporters.
“Newcastle away is always a great game, great atmosphere,” Kane said.
“It’s an incredible stadium St. James’ Park. I enjoy it, I look forward to that game.
“The fans up there are mad for Newcastle as well, so it’s normally a great atmosphere and a great game to be involved with.”
Newcastle’s supporters passion is always spoken of highly by players and pundits alike, and they are likely to be honoured by the England captain’s latest comments.
Kane will certainly have enjoyed his visit to Newcastle this season.
Tottenham actually couldn’t pick up a win on Tyneside, but Kane put in a remarkable performance, where he scored twice in a 2-2 draw.
Kane also scored twice in Tottenham’s 3-1 victory at St. James’ Park last term, which means he now has four goals in his last two visits to the North East.
