Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told Football.London that he is looking forward to playing against Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Premier League club Tottenham will take on Italian outfit Juventus away from home in Turin in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday evening.

England international striker Kane is set to line up at Juventus Stadium for Spurs, while Chiellini will be a key figure at the back for the Bianconeri.

Ahead of the match, the 24-year-old Tottenham star has expressed his admiration of 33-year-old Italian defender.

Kane told Football.London about Chiellini: “He’s an amazing defender. My first game, my first start for England, he made a challenge and I had a dead leg for about ten minutes.

“It was a good welcome to international football. Look, we know how good their defence is as a whole.

“They’re a fantastic team and I’m looking forward to the challenge of coming up against him again.”

Key battle

Kane has been in great form this season and is banging in the goals for fun for Tottenham at the moment.

The England international is an all-round striker who is hard to mark, and it will be interesting to see how the Juventus backline cope with him.

Juventus have one of the strongest teams in the Champions League, and they will fancy their chances of winning this evening as the first leg is at home.
