Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has said on Sky Sports what Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford told him about his first goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham hammered Everton 5-0 at home in the Premier League on Monday evening.
England international striker Kane scored two goals for Spurs.
The first goal came in the 37th minute.
There was a VAR check, and Kane’s goal stood.
The 28-year-old striker was very confident after he scored that he was not offside.

The Spurs striker said: “As I was coming back, Pickford was saying, ‘You are offside’. And he was ready to take the free kick. I am not sure if he was just trying to work his way in there.”

Big win for Tottenham
In our view, the win for Tottenham against Everton was big for the North London club.
Spurs were brilliant and could have scored by a much bigger margin.
Now, of course, we cannot ignore that Everton are a team who are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
However, Everton still do have a good squad, and we have to praise Tottenham for their performance and result against Frank Lampard’s side.
As for Kane, once again the Tottenham star proved that he is world class and is back to his best.
