Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane is clearly proud as punch of his individual awards.
The 27-year-old had a glittering 2020-21 campaign with Spurs, scoring 23 Premier League goals and setting up another 14.
In doing so, the Tottenham striker picked up both the Golden Boot and the prize for most assists.
It’s well documented that Kane has other, bigger trophies on his mind amid reports that he has told the North London club that he’s planning to leave [Sky Sports].
But individual awards clearly mean a lot to him too, evident by the fact that he brought them both on a post-season holiday with him.
Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to Kane’s post on Twitter:
Is he leaving?
Well, more than likely.
Even if Tottenham do hire Mauricio Pochettino – and according to The Athletic, Daniel Levy is in talks with the Argentine – it seems probable that Kane is still going to leave.
Tottenham are nowhere near as good now as they were a few years ago when they were competing for Premier League and Champions League titles.
And if Kane couldn’t win a trophy in that team then logically, he will know that he still has much more chance of success elsewhere.
