Bayern Munich are, once again, being linked with a move for Harry Kane, and while a move to Bavaria for Kane is every Spurs fans’ worst nightmare, there is reason to be excited about this move from a neutral’s point of view.
Indeed, Bayern Munich believe that no other striker in Europe will suit them in the way the Kane does, and we’re inclined to agree.
Kane would be perfect for Bayern, he’d combine Robert Lewandowski’s finishing with Thomas Muller’s creativity, and there’s one player that we’d love to see Kane pair up with at Bayern.
Indeed, the prospect of Harry Kane and Sadio Mane playing together at Bayern Munich is a mouth-watering one.

Kane is undoubtedly as one of the best strikers in the world. He is a complete forward who can score all types of goals, whether it’s from close range or from long range. He is also a great passer of the ball. He’s not quite a false nine, but he can operate as both a playmaker and a poacher all at the same time.
Mane, on the other hand has been one of the most consistent performers in Europe in recent years, and there’s reason to believe he’d work perfectly alongside Kane.
Together, Kane and Mane would form an incredible partnership. Kane’s ability to drop deep and play balls in behind would be perfectly complemented by Mane’s intelligent runs, pace and deadly finishing, while Mane himself is a great creator from out wide.
Mane did this for years at Liverpool, working perfectly in tandem with Roberto Firmino who was, for a long time, the master at dropping deep.
We’ve already seen how Kane can work with an attacker in this mould. For years, Heung-Min Son was the one getting on the end of these balls, and there have been constant comparisons between Son and Mane over the years, but given Son’s recent dip in form, we have to imagine that Mane would be a better partner for Kane right now.
It’s almost as if both players would be upgrading here. Mane would be playing alongside a premium version of Firimino, while Kane would be playing alongside an upgrade on Son.
Of course, there are many factors to consider when it comes to a potential transfer, and Kane may ultimately decide to stay at Tottenham or move elsewhere. But the thought of him and Mane playing together at Bayern is an intriguing one, and it’s easy to see why Julian Nagelsmann is so sold on the idea of signing Kane.
