Kane recently put pen to paper on a new Tottenham deal, and has now hinted that it may not be the last new contract he signs.

Harry Kane has suggested that he would happily remain at Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of his career as long as the club continues to make strides forward, the Daily Mirror reports.

The Mirror reports that the 23-year-old seemingly put an end to any speculation regarding his future by signing a new deal that is set to keep him at White Hart Lane until 2022 and is worth £150,000 a week.

But while that contract should see the England star remain with Mauricio Pochettino’s side until he is 29, Kane has left the door open for this latest deal to not be his last with Tottenham.

“From my point of view, as long as the club’s always progressing and has got a vision and going forward, then I’d love to do that,” he said, as reported by the Mirror, when asked about staying at Spurs for the rest of his career.

“At the moment, that’s the case, so there is no reason for me to move anywhere else.

“My ambitions at Tottenham are to win trophies. Premier Leagues, Champions Leagues.

“We’ve got to aim high, we have everything in the right place.”

Kane has once again proved this season just how important he is to Spurs’ fortunes. While they picked up four impressive wins following the injury he sustained against Sunderland in September, their form dipped soon after as they failed to win any of their next six games and only scored three times across those fixtures.

While their form has remained somewhat shaky since his return – they have lost twice in the five games they have played since his comeback – their most recent result, and his recent performances in front of goal show just how influential he is.

He has scored six in five, including a brace in their 5-0 win over Swansea at the weekend. And if Tottenham are to drag themselves back into the title picture, it is surely safe to say that Kane’s form will be crucial.
