The Dutch striker has struggled since making his big move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker Harry Kane has been backing his support act Vincent Janssen to come good in English football.
The Dutch international cost the club, according to Sky Sports, around £18.6 million and was supposed to be a natural goal threat as his record of 30 goals in 43 appearances would have suggested last season.
However, he has struggled to adapt to English football and his three goals for Spurs have all come from the penalty spot.

But Kane, speaking to Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad, made it clear that he feels the Dutchman can come good at White Hart Lane:
“Vincent must remain calm, remain patient. I am sure he will be fine.
“Vincent is a great player. Young, but blessed with a great attitude and a lot of talent.
“He has to get used to the pace in the Premier League, it seems logical to me. It’s happened to many more players, especially at his age.”
He went on to comment on his relationship with the Dutch international, which he described as good despite the obvious competition for a starting spot:
“We are both striker but can also play well together, and try each other to make each work harder.
“We have a good relationship, he’s a great guy.”

Janssen recently drew widespread criticism after a very poor performance against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
At the moment Janssen is struggling for first-team football with Kane back in form, scoring 15 goals in 20 appearances for the club this season.
But with Europa League fixtures coming up the Dutchman will be hoping to take his chance against European opposition and finally score from open play.
