Five England players are at risk of missing the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup, if they beat Norway in the quarter-final.
Thomas Tuchel’s side reached the last eight of the tournament with a 3-2 victory over Mexico at the Estadio Azteca.
The Three Lions are now one game away from reaching the semi-finals for only the second time since 1966.
However, England fans will be concerned about several key players missing the semi-final at the Atlanta Stadium.
Which England players would miss the World Cup semi-final with another yellow card
The World Cup rules state that players will be suspended for the quarter-final if they are booked in the Round of 32 and 16.
No England player received a yellow card in both knockout rounds, so they have no suspensions besides Jarell Quansah.

Quansah will miss the Norway game this weekend following his straight red card for serious foul play against Mexico.
However, five England players are one yellow card away from missing a potential World Cup semi-final next week.
England’s two superstars, Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, both cannot afford another yellow card against Norway.
Meanwhile, Nico O’Reilly, Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson will all be walking a suspension tightrope this weekend.
Henderson is unlikely to have to worry about a possible suspension, as he is expected to miss the game with an arm injury.
Suspensions have become a huge talking point at this World Cup after USMNT striker Folarin Balogun’s ban was postponed.
Hopefully, the British royal family or government will not need to get involved in England’s World Cup fate.
