Harry Forrester scored the winner in Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers’ last match.
Harry Forrester has admitted to Glasgow Rangers’ official website that he would like more first-team football.
Forrester has made just five league starts for Rangers this season, with the bulk of his appearances coming from the substitutes’ bench.
The winger did make a good impact after being brought on in Rangers’ last match against Dundee, though, as he entered the field to score a late winner.
And Forrester is hoping that the goal can help him earn more first-team action at Ibrox.
“Every footballer wants to play football – that’s a given,” Forrester said. “I understand the role of a squad member and I have been that of late. We’ll see what it is like going forward but we are all in it together and we put our efforts in all the time.”
Rangers had struggled to break Dundee down before Forrester’s introduction, and looked set to be heading towards a disappointing draw.
However, the former Doncaster man popped up in the final moments to head home a header, and ensure that Rangers got the three points.
Forrester has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season, and scored three times in total.
Rangers are next in action on Saturday against Partick, and Forrester will be hoping that he has done enough to be involved.
