Rangers secured a 2-0 win before the international break and Forrester says it comes at an ideal time.
Rangers midfielder Harry Forrester has told the club’s official website that he thinks the international break has come at a good time for them.
The Gers have endured a disappointing start to the season, picking up just three wins from their first eight games.
They returned to winning ways before the international break, though, as they comfortably beat Partick Thistle 2-0 at Ibrox.
That victory was much needed for Mark Warburton’s team, who had failed to win in their four games before it.
For some the break for international football comes at an inopportune time but Forrester has told the club’s official website he believes differently.
“You can look at it both ways,” he said.
“We won a game, which we’ve been waiting to do for a long time, we’ve got confidence and we can all go away, look at ourselves and have a break away from the place and come back firing again.”
Rangers return to domestic football after the international break when they face a trip to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Richie Foran’s side are currently eighth in the table, with nine points from their first eight games and the Gers will be favourites.
It will not be an easy trip by any means, though, something league leaders Celtic discovered when they played out a 2-2 draw last month.
And Forrester has warned his teammates they will have go there and dominate the game to come away with all three points.
“I’ve never been up to Inverness. It’s a long old trek but we’ve got to go there and dominate the game. We’ve got to carry our confidence into that,” he added.
“They’ll be decent, they’ll be organised and we’ve got to turn up and take over and come away with three points.”
