Bournemouth loanee Harry Arter is currently on loan at Cardiff City, with Watford and Aston Villa reportedly showing interest in his services.

At the start of the Premier League season, many tipped Watford for relegation, but performances during this campaign have proven that they should not have been written off so early.
Javi Gracia’s forward-thinking side are currently sitting in the top seven and will be wanting to maintain that European place come the end of the season.
The Irish Independent claim that midfielder Harry Arter, who is on loan at relegation-threatened Cardiff City from Bournemouth, could end his loan spell early.
It is said that Watford and Championship promotion chasers, Aston Villa are showing interest in his services, which could see the 29-year-old return early to Dean Court.
If the 15-cap Republic of Ireland international had a choice then he should snub Villa and join the London-based club instead because he could potentially be playing for a team that could be competing in Europe next season.
Watford do have a strong midfield, and as expected it to would be easier to earn regular game time in Villa’s midfield, but Arter’s experience and defensive capabilities means that he would be a valuable asset to Gracia’s side.

Over the course of the season for Cardiff, Arter has played 19 league games and helped Neil Warnock’s side secure five clean sheets, which is pretty respectable for a recently promoted side.
All in all, with Cardiff still battling relegation, it looks very likely that Villa will miss out on a playoff place in the Championship, Arter should pick European-chasing Watford as his next destination.
