Young Leeds United goalkeeper Harrison Male is fit again after a gruelling five-month stint on the sidelines.
The 18-year-old was named on the bench as Leeds Under-18s beat their Sheffield United counterparts 3-2 at the weekend.
Male joined Tadcaster Albion on ‘work experience‘ back in August, but a serious injury saw him return to Thorp Arch not long after.
He revealed his delight over being fit again on Twitter, and got a response from Will Huffer, who made his senior Leeds debut a little earlier this season.
Male earned his debut immediately after joining the non-league side, though it ended in a 2-0 defeat.
The Whites have a number of promising young goalkeepers in the ranks and they will all be no doubt inspired by Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Leeds’ first-team stopper who made his club debut at the age of 19 in 2016.
Peacock-Farrell dropped out of United’s first XI this past weekend following the signing of former Real Madrid man Kiko Casilla.
