The Blues defender helped his side claim a clean sheet in the Championship win over the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa at St Andrew’s.

Birmingham City overcame a losing run and off-the-pitch issues to record a 1-0 win over Championship title challengers Leeds United in Saturday’s game at St Andrew’s, doing the double over Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the process.
Garry Monk’s charges had lost their previous five games, on top of suffering a points deduction, while the Whites came to the West Midlands hoping to remain in the top two and keep the pressure up on Norwich City.
However, the supposedly beleaguered Blues went on to take the lead just before the half hour mark when Che Adams scored from outside the area for his 22nd goal of the season and his third in two games against Leeds.
Birmingham did find themselves under siege on numerous occasions, especially in the second half, but they held out for a superb victory over the Yorkshire side which knocked them out of the top two.
The Blues remain five points clear of the bottom three with six games to go this season, as 22nd-placed Rotherham United picked up a shock 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest at the New York Stadium, but it was nonetheless a much-needed win for Monk and his boys.
Harlee Dean, who had his “best game in some time” according to the Birmingham Mail’s post-match ratings which gave him an 8/10, took to Twitter after the game and posted a message:
Needless to say the Birmingham fanbase loved his comments and some took to the social media platform to praise him and his teammates:
