Haris Vuckic has left Newcastle United for FC Twente in the summer transfer window.
Haris Vuckic has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Newcastle United.
Vuckic has left Premier League outfit Newcastle to join Dutch club FC Twente on a three-year contract.
It is a free transfer, as the 24-year-old attacking midfielder’s contract at the Magpies was coming to an end at the end of the month.
The Slovenia international had been on the books of Newcastle since 2009, but he failed to make an impact St. James’ Park.
During his time at Newcastle, Vuckic played on loan for a number of clubs, including Rangers, Wigan Athletic and Bradford City.
Vuckic has taken to Twitter to send an emotional message to Newcastle.
Newcastle will play in the Premier League next season after getting promoted from the Championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Rafael Benitez’s side will be aiming to push for a top-10 finish in the Premier League during the 2017-18 campaign.
