Reece James has been hosting a Q&A on his Twitter page, and, inevitably, he’s been asked who the toughest player he’s ever come up against is.
The young right-back has played against some of the world’s very best attackers, but he’s pinpointed three left-wingers who have posed him the most problems.
Inevitably, the usual suspects came up, the likes of Vinicius Jr and Sadio Mane were mentioned, but according to James, there’s another player who is up there with those two.
Indeed, James named reported Liverpool transfer target, Rafael Leao, as one of the toughest players he’s ever come up against.
Liverpool, of course, sold Sadio Mane in the summer, but they could replace the Senegal star with another one of James’ nemeses in the shape of Leao.
Indeed, according to Corriere Della Sera, Liverpool are interested in Leao, and as James says, he is a problem for any full-back.

The Portuguese star is an absolute flying machine. He has pace to burn, and on top of that he’s really refined his finishing over the past 12 months.
While, he’s not quite a Mane-level finisher, the AC Milan star certainly knows where the back of the net is, and Liverpool could do with a player in his mould as they look to rejuvenate their attack.
Unfortunately for Liverpool, Leao is a player who is on the radar of almost every top club in Europe and it will be a real battle to secure his signature – and an expensive one at that.
One thing is for sure, this is one of the most exciting and eye-catching young players in Europe, and it may not be long before he’s strutting his stuff in the Premier League.
