Leeds United defender Luke Ayling has told BeIN Sports that Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is practically impossible to stop when he builds up speed.
Aubameyang produced his best performance of the season yesterday, as Arsenal took Leeds apart at times.
Aubameyang scored early on, as Ayling backed off him and he flashed a shot in at the near post.
The defending wasn’t particularly exemplary, and Ayling admits that he had difficulty dealing with the Arsenal front-man throughout the contest.
“He’s a very clever striker,” Ayling said. “He pulls out into those positions where centre-halves don’t really want to go and when he’s building up speed and pushing back into the box it’s hard to do anything against a striker like that.”
Aubameyang has had a relatively slow start to the campaign, but seems to have sparked into life now.

The Arsenal’s forward’s hat-trick was the first of his Premier League career, and the hope is that he can build on that showing and get back to his best again.
If Aubameyang can re-find his top form then that should boost Arsenal’s chances of climbing up the table, with Mikel Arteta’s side currently sat in 10th place.
