Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after they heard that Michail Antonio will miss West Ham’s trip to Anfield tomorrow evening.

The Daily Mail revealed that the Hammers forward is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

The news comes as a real blow to David Moyes and the east London-based outfit.

Antonio was in fantastic form, having recently scored a bicycle kick against Manchester City to take his tally for the season to three goals from six games played.

Understandably, Liverpool fans are happy with this news due to the problems West Ham’s No.30 has caused them in the past.

Throughout his West Ham career, the 30-year-old has faced the Reds on eight occasions, and has netted an impressive five goals according to Transfermarkt.

Additionally, with Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho absent through injury, dealing with Antonio presumably would’ve been tough for Joe Gomez and young Rhys Williams.

Moyes’ side still have some fantastic players, and can call upon their club-record signing in £45 million Sebastien Haller to replace their injured forward.

The likes of Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Tomas Soucek are also capable of causing Jurgen Klopp’s side problems.
