Joe Rodon’s brother has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the defender joining Tottenham Hotspur from Swansea City.

Premier League club Tottenham signed Rodon from Championship side Swansea on summer transfer deadline day.

As reported by BBC Sport, Spurs have paid the Swans an initial transfer fee of £11 million to secure the services of the Wales international central defender.

Rodon’s brother Joe and his uncle Phil have given their take on the youngster’s transfer to Tottenham.

Joe Rodon’s Swansea City spell

Rodon had been one of the best players for Swansea for the past season or so, and had established himself in the starting lineup.

According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old made 20 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Swans last season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, he made 23 starts and four substitute appearances in the league.

The youngster knows Tottenham duo Gareth Bale and Ben Davies well, as he plays with them for the Wales national football team, and that could help him settle into life at the North London club.

The youngster could take some time to adjust to the Premier League, but he does have the potential to make it big at Spurs.
