Wolf had been among the main contenders for the Leeds United vacancy, but could still be West Yorkshire bound with Bradford City.
Hannes Wolf is now leading the betting to become Bradford City’s next manager, with Paul Heckingbottom seemingly bound for Leeds United instead of the German.
Wolf had emerged as one of the favourites for the Leeds position earlier on Monday, however, Sky Bet have since closed that market.
But it seems the 36-year-old could still end up in West Yorkshire, after seeing his odds on becoming the new Bradford manager cut from 4/1 to 6/4 with the same bookmakers – surpassing ex-Leeds boss Simon Grayson.
Grayson was the 9/4 favourite at one stage, however, the 48-year-old has since drifted to 6/1.
In between the pair are Bradford scout Greg Abbott (3/1), another ex-Leeds manager Uwe Rosler (7/2), and Andreas Hinkel (11/2), the boss of VFB Stuttgart’s second string.
Hinkel was a colleague of Wolf – who spent 18 months in charge of first team affairs – at Stuttgart.
Bradford sacked Stuart McCall after six straight defeats on Monday morning.
