The West Ham United star was full of praise for the Hammers faithful.

The east London outfit succumbed to conceding a late equaliser against the Clarets, after holding out for 58 minutes playing with 10 men following Andy Carroll dismissal in the 27th minute of the match.

And the 27-year-old spoke to reporters after the game about how the travelling support helped drive on him and his teammates throughout the course of the 90 minutes against Sean Dyche’s side, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“We are so angry because it’s possible to take three points from this game, but we took one point. This is football, though, so we just have to concentrate on the next game because we need to take a lot of points. We have the best fans in England, you know, and everywhere we go the fans are coming and making noise for the team. They’ve just got to continue that for the next game.”

The Senegal international will have just as an important role to play in West Ham’s season as the club’s fans will, with his box-to-box playing style pivotal to the manner in which Slaven Bilic sets his side up.
Next up for the east London outfit is a home game against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Friday night, before they travel to north London on Wednesday to take on bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, and Kouyate will have to be at his very best if West Ham are to take anything from those outings.
