German club admit jumping the gun over Leeds United move.

German side Hamburg have admitted jumping the gun over Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s move to Leeds United.
Hamburg posted confirmation of the move on Tuesday (29/8) but have since deleted the message from their Twitter feed.
Leeds have yet to announce a deal for the striker, who was expected to seal a loan move.
The report states: “We were a bit premature, but we assume that the change will go on before the end of the transfer period on Thursday.”

Lasogga is not in the German club’s first team plans after falling out of favour, and they are clearly ready to let him move on.
Die Welt reported that sporting director Jens Todt had stated: “We wish Pierre all the best for the new challenge in England and keep their fingers crossed with Leeds.”
This message was tweeted out and later deleted.
Leeds fans will hope Hamburg can re-activate their announcement before the deadline and the moves goes ahead without a hitch.
It’s close, but not quite done yet.
