Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against RB Leipzig at Celtic Park in the Europa League on Thursday.

RB Leipzig left-back Marcel Halstenberg has admitted to the club’s official Twitter page that the atmosphere at Celtic Park during the Europa League match against Celtic got to some of his teammates.
Celtic got the better of Leipzig 2-1 at Celtic Park in the Europa League Group B on Thursday evening.
It was a hugely exciting and entertaining game of football in which the Bundesliga side could have scored a late equaliser.
In the end, the Hoops deservedly picked up all three points and are now level on points with Leipzig in third place in Group B.
Leipzig left-back Halstenberg – who is valued at €6.9 million (£6m) by the CIES Football Observatory – has admitted that the atmosphere got to one or two of his teammates.

Celtic Park is always a great place for atmosphere for European games, and it was no different on Thursday evening.
The Celtic fans were behind the players from start to finish, and their energy and passion helped Brendan Rodgers’s side a great deal against a team who are better than them on paper.
