Alex Crook has suggested that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino could secure a move to West Ham United during the January transfer window.
The talkSPORT reporter pointed towards David Moyes’ side needing ‘firepower’ and possibly signing the 31-year-old Liverpool player.
Firmino is out-of-contract on Merseyside in the summer and it’s not yet clear if he will put pen-to-paper on a new deal, although, reports from Germany suggested that he is ‘leaning towards’ a new contract.

The £29 million Brazil international (BBC Sport) has seven goals from 13 Premier League games this season – that’s more than Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio combined, who have five between them.
The Hammers picked up a point against Leeds United on Wednesday night to stop their losing run, as they hover above the Premier League’s relegation zone, after back-to-back European finishes in previous seasons.
After spending big in the summer, will those in East London go again in January, well Crook pointed towards Firmino, as he told talkSPORT.
“I could see Firmino leaving, certainly in the summer, if not this month,” said Crook. “I think there will be clubs looking at Firmino maybe West Ham, who need firepower.
“Half of the Premier League would want Firmino if he became available.”

FIRMINO SHOULD SIGN A NEW DEAL
During these past few seasons, Firmino hasn’t exactly been hitting the top notes on the pitch, with a number of patches of bad form.
But this season, he has faired much better and he is a player that becomes more valuable when he’s not playing.
Plus, from Firmino’s perspective, if he does leave Liverpool for good, then surely it will be to another Champions League club, rather than one now struggling near the bottom of the Premier League table.
Whatever happens, those inside Anfield should put a new contract on the table for him because the Reds are better off with him at the club.
