Arsenal fans have well and truly disagreed with Mauricio Pochettino’s comments after he claimed that he and Brendan Rodgers ‘changed the mentality’ of English football, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Pochettino’s bold comments about the impact he has had on English football, along with Rodgers, hasn’t gone down well with the Arsenal faithful.

They have pointed to a certain iconic duo in Arsene Wenger and Alex Ferguson, who dominated English football for large periods.

One massive impact Wenger had on English football was changing the way players trained, ate and looked after their bodies.

It was the norm for players to drink days before and after a game, but that culture in football has been well and truly wiped out and Wenger played a key role in that.

As a result, Arsenal fans aren’t buying Pochettino’s comments, as the Argentinan coach managed Southampton and Tottenham during his time in England.

On the other hand, Rodgers helped Swansea earn promotion to the Premier League in 2012 and narrowly missed out on winning the English league title with Liverpool years later.

During his time at Celtic, he won every trophy available to him and has since guided Leicester to Europa League football.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting to Pochettino’s comments:
