Well, Rangers are back in the Champions League.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side produced an exceptional performance to record a 1-0 victory away to PSV Eindhoven.

In doing so, Rangers have booked their passage into the group stages for the first time since 2010.

Ianis Hagi is still out injured for the Ibrox outfit.

But here’s how the Romania international reacted to the brilliant Rangers victory on Twitter tonight.

A goal from Antonio Colak on the hour mark put Van Bronckhorst’s troops ahead on the night and in the tie itself, following a 2-2 draw in Glasgow last week.

And Colak’s strike was ultimately enough to bring the light Blues back to Europe’s elite competition.

This is a fascinating development and a massive step forward for a club who nearly went out of business only two years after their most recent foray in the Champions League.

Rangers won the Premiership title under Steven Gerrard in 2021 but there’s no doubt that the Dutch manager – who replaced Gerrard last year – has taken the Gers to a new level entirely.

Under Van Bronckhorst, they reached the Europa League final last term, losing on penalties to Eintracht Frankfurt.

And now their return to the Champions League is another enormous sign of their progress.
