Leeds United summer signing Hadi Sacko has revealed to The Yorkshire Evening Post the advice that head coach Garry Monk has given to him.

Sacko joined Championship club Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old, who can play as a winger, attacking midfielder or striker, has been in good form for the Whites so far this season.

The former France Under-20 international has scored one goal and created 10 chances in 10 Championship appearances for Leeds so far this campaign.

Sacko has revealed the advice he has been given by Monk, and has also stated that he wants to score more goals.

“I want to play more games,” Sacko told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “I want to increase my level and for my confidence, I want to score more goals. That’s my problem now.

“When I have the ball, the gaffer tells me ‘go with your characteristics, go one-v-one and play your game, play your football’.

“I’m happy here. It’s a good team with a good ambience. The football here in England, there’s lots of space for the wingers. That’s good for me.”

Sacko is a promising and talented young footballer, and he is going to important for Leeds as the season progresses.

The French youngster does need to add goals to his game, and if he does that, then by end of the 2016-17 campaign, he could prove to be the best signing of the 2016 summer from Leeds.

The Whites are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 16 points from 11 matches, just four points behind sixth-placed Birmingham City.
