Leeds United summer signing Hadi Sacko has admitted to The Yorkshire Evening Post that he is unsure about his long-term future.
Sacko joined Championship club Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who can play as a winger, attacking midfielder or striker, has played well for the Whites so far this season.
The former France Under-20 international has scored one goal and created 10 chances in 10 Championship appearances for Leeds so far this campaign.
Sacko has said that he is happy at Elland Road for the time being, but he has admitted that he does not know where his long-term future lies.
“At the moment it’s good,” Sacko told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “At the moment I want to stay no problem. But one year is a long (time).
“My agent, he speaks with Sporting sometimes but me, no, I don’t speak with Sporting. I’m just focused on my new team.”
Sacko has proven to be a good acquisition for Leeds, but as the attacker himself suggests, it is too early to make a decision on his future.
If the Frenchman continues to play well and carries on improving, then the Whites should look into the prospect of signing him on a permanent contract.
Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Derby County away from home at the iPro Stadium in the Championship.
