Leeds earned a 3-2 win in an enthralling win over Blackburn.

On-loan winger Hadi Sacko and Hollywood actor Russell Crowe both reacted on Twitter as Leeds United came from behind to beat Blackburn Rovers in injury time at Elland Road.

Leeds had taken a 1-0 lead into the break after an own goal from Derrick Williams, but Blackburn equalised through Charlie Mulgrew. The left-footed defender then added his second in the 90th minute.

A mistake from Bailey Peacock-Farrell error saw Mulgrew score his second with a 25-yard free-kick, but Kemar Roofe saved his goalkeeper’s blushes by latching on to a loose ball to blast home from six yards.

With seconds remaining, Roofe sent Leeds fans into meltdown at Elland Road as he headed home a Pablo Hernandez cross. Loaned to Las Palmas, Sacko reacted on Twitter as did Crowe, who is a well-renowned Leeds fan.

The win sees Leeds make it seven wins in a row under Marcelo Bielsa, and stretch their lead at the top of the Championship table to three points, after Norwich City failed to beat Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.

It is a quick turnaround for the Whites as it is many other teams. They play host to Nigel Adkins’ Hull City on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road, as they look to make it eight wins in a row.
