Speaking on his podcast, Ben Foster has been discussing the idea of him potentially returning to football after his retirement last season.
Foster has been out of the game for a number of months now, but there have been some murmurs that he could return to the Premier League at some point with recent reports linking him with a move to Spurs after Hugo Lloris picked up an injury.
It is reported that Spurs were keen on Foster as a third-choice in case Fraser Forster went down with an injury, and now, Foster says that he has had some short-term offers recently, presumably from Tottenham.

Foster has had offers
The goalkeeper spoke about the approaches he’s had.
“To answer your question, no I do not miss one thing about football. I have even had a few offers recently where I could have gone and done a short-term deal and stuff like that, but I don’t know if I’ve ever really fancied it to be honest with you,” Foster said.
Doesn’t fancy it
Foster doesn’t fancy returning to the game as a third-choice goalkeeper, and, to be honest, we can’t blame him.
After 20 years of a high-pressure career, Foster seems to be thriving in his newfound role as a podcast host and media personality, and he doesn’t need to return to such a stressful environment if he doesn’t want to.
As brilliant as the idea of being a professional footballer is, Foster has done his time and his heart seemingly just isn’t in it anymore.
Tottenham may just have to persevere with Forster as their number one in the coming weeks and hope that he doesn’t get injured.
