Ex-Leeds United flop Habib Habibou has sent a message on Twitter to supporters of his former side.

Leeds lost to Brentford 2-0 on Monday, and the result severely damaged their promotion chances.

The Whites look likely to be playing in the play offs now, after battling for automatic promotion all season.

There is understandably a great deal of frustration around Elland Road at the moment with the way that Leeds have collapsed towards the end of the season.

But Habibou has urged Leeds supporters to keep the faith in their side.

Habibou made just four appearances for Leeds during a loan spell back in 2013, and he never managed to score a goal for the Whites.

The target-man striker is now playing for Maccabi Petah Tikva in Israel.
