Just like with Pickford in the defence, Pascal Gross is a surprise addition in the Premier League team of the season, yet the Brighton & Hove Albion star is more than worthy of a spot in the XI based on his sensational form this campaign, with the German on course to obliterate his goals and assist tally from last season.
Rounding off the midfield we have Newcastle United’s finest Allan Saint-Maximin and Leeds United star Jack Harrison, with the pair both starting the new season in incredible goalscoring and creative fashion as both Premier League sides look to be on an exciting path this campaign.

Remember when Erling Haaland missed a sitter in the Community Shield and everyone and their mother seemed to write off the new Manchester City striker then and there? Well boy, weren’t you all wrong as the attacker has gone on to make the Premier League his playground.
