Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has featured in every one of Marco Silva’s side’s league matches this season.

Sigurdsson missed a penalty when Everton drew 2-2 with Watford at Goodison Park recently.
But he was kept on spot kick duty on Boxing Day, as Everton battered Burnley 5-1.
Sigurdsson scored from 12 yards this time around, and Silva’s faith in him meant a lot.
“The gaffer spoke to me and said he still believed in me,” he said. “That was back after the Watford game, and he told me that I was going to take the next penalty that we got. I just kept working on it in training and thankfully this one went in.
“It is great to have his faith in me. It is, of course, disappointing to miss penalties, but it comes with the job. Some you will score and some you won’t.”

Everton’s 5-1 win over Burnley was highly impressive, and it got them back to winning ways after a dip in form.
Everton had been struggling pair to their trip to Turf Moor, but Burnley could not deal with their attacking quality.
Sigurdsson has developed into one of Everton’s most important players this season.
The Icelandic international has featured in every one of the Toffees’ matches and looks likely to be picked when Silva’s side take on Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.
