Gylfi Sigurdsson has been in flying form for Everton so far this season.

Gylfi Sigurdsson is starting to live up to his billing as a £45 million player at Everton now.
Sigurdsson joined Everton for a club record fee in 2017 (the Guardian), but his first season at Goodison Park was slow.
While the Icelandic international was far from poor, he also wasn’t the talismanic presence that Everton were hoping for.
Sigurdsson seemed stifled in Sam Allardyce’s rigid system for much of the campaign, and he even started this season slowly.
However, Marco Silva has transformed the playmaker’s form, and he is now starting to make his price tag look like a bargain.
There are very few players in the Premier League who have been able to compete with Sigurdsson in terms of productivity this season.

The 29-year-old has hit seven goals and claimed two assists over the campaign to date, and he is arguably the most integral player in Everton’s team at this point.
And, despite a rather inauspicious start, Sigurdsson is really starting to prove his quality at Everton now.
