Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson recently joined Everton from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.
Sigurdsson was on the books of Tottenham from 2012 until 2014 before joining Premier League rivals Swansea City.
The Iceland international started 26 times and made 32 appearances as a substitute for Spurs in the league during his spell at White Hart Lane, as reported by The Mirror.
The 27-year-old played well on occasions during his time at Spurs, but the midfielder was not given an extended run in the team to establish himself as a key figure.
Sigurdsson has joined Everton from Swansea City in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £45 million.
Although the former Reading man was not a massive success at Spurs, he has stated that he enjoyed his time at White Hart Lane, claiming that the experience was “fantastic”.

“Maybe it is was a combination of me not being ready then, and not getting a real opportunity — but I really did enjoy my time at Tottenham,” Sigurdsson told The Mirror. “It was fantastic experience.
“Of course I could have probably stayed on, but I wanted the chance to go back to Swansea and play football again.
“I wanted to use my time as a professional, because your career is really short. I wanted to go out and play every week and that worked out really well.”

Sigurdsson scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 37 Premier League starts for Swansea last season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the Iceland international scored 11goals and provided three assists in 32 league starts for the Swans.
