Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the Manchester Evening News revealed that Manchester United have made contact with Mauricio Pochettino.

The news comes amid a poor run of form for the Red Devils under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has lost four of his last nine games in all competitions.

MEN’s report reveals that Pochettino wanted the job back in December, and is still interested in jumping into the Old Trafford hotseat.

United could end up 17th if they lose to Everton this weekend, and the November international break – synonymous with mid-season sackings – is also on the horizon.

It was during the November break that Pochettino lost his job at Tottenham last year as shown on the BBC, and Solskjaer could be the next boss to face the axe.

Even the Tottenham players were seemingly devastated. Dele Alli was one player who took to Twitter to write an emotional message to the ex-Southampton boss.
