Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting to the Spain squad announcement after Rodrigo was left out of Luis Enrique’s side.
The ex-Valencia forward has been a regular for Spanish national team in recent years, but after a few fitness problems and questionable form, he’s been left out this time.
Rodrigo hasn’t been brilliant as of late, notably being subbed on and subbed off against Chelsea over the weekend, so it’s not all that surprising to see he’s been left out of the Spain reckoning.
The 29-year-old usually played as a number nine for Spain, but he’s not been able to get a look-in in that position for Leeds this term, partly down to the fantastic performances of Patrick Bamford for the Whites.
As you can imagine, Leeds fans had plenty to say about their player not being called up. Some fans showed sympathy for him, while others pondered whether or not he has a fitness issue.
