Reported Liverpool and Everton target Gustavo Viera has revealed to The Sun that he dreams of playing in the Premier League.
The 16-year-old forward plays for Liverpool in his homeland of Uruguay and, according to The Sun, is a target of Merseyside outfits Liverpool and Everton.
The talented and promising teenager has revealed his dream to play in the English top flight. Viera has also disclosed that growing up Chelsea were his favourite team.
“I loved watching the Premier League when I was younger, especially because of the speed and the physicality,” the 16-year-old told The Sun.
“Chelsea was my favourite team. Now I am playing myself, for sure I want to arrive there one day.”
Liverpool or Everton?
Viera is only 16 and has a lot of time on his hands, and if he continues to progress and develop, then he could find himself playing in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
Liverpool and Everton are two massive clubs in England, and both give chances to youngsters.
If the youngster moves to either of the Merseyside outfit either in the January transfer window or in the summer transfer window, then it would be hard for him to establish himself in the first team.
What Viera needs to do in order to fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League is to carry on working hard in his native Uruguay.
