Tottenham Hotspur were in action at the weekend. Spurs faced Premier League rivals Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side headed into the tie as slight favourites due to their better form, but they ended up losing the game 4-2 to their London rivals.
Tottenham were on the back foot after just five minutes when Willian put the Blues ahead, but Harry Kane equalised for 18 minutes.
William put Chelsea back in front from the penalty spot on 43 minutes, and although Dele Alli restored parity for Tottenham just seven minutes into the second half, Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic subsequently scored to bag a 4-2 win for Chelsea.
Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague was following the match, and he was impressed with Tottenham.
Balague, though, was not too impressed with some Spurs fans leaving the stadium early and before the game had finished.
Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 71 points from 32 matches, just four points behind leaders Chelsea.
