Guillem Balague says Tottenham Hotspur need to add two or three players this summer.

La Liga expert, Guillem Balague, wrote in his column for Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur must sign quality players in the summer transfer window.
When asked which Premier League team does he fancy having a crack at in the Champions League, Balague replied that replied that it was too early to say as it depends upon what signings would take place.
Further elaborating on this topic, he says that Tottenham will learn from their bad 2016/17 European experience, but the north Londoners are punching above their weight.
Spurs have been brilliant in the Premier League this season where they finished second behind Chelsea, but Balague says that the London club may fall short when they’ll face big European clubs.

However, he says that Spurs could be a competitive force in Europe if they make two or three signings that really make a difference to their starting XI.
“You have to celebrate finishing second again but when they face big clubs in the Champions League they may fall short. That’s unless they make two or three signings that really add to the first XI,” wrote Balague for Sky Sports.
There is a feeling among the pundits and fans alike that Spurs need to sign players who are game changers and can add significant quality to the starting XI.
Balague believes that this summer is key for Spurs, and that they cannot afford to make poor signings like Vincent Janssen and Moussa Sissoko, both players having been hugely disappointing.
“They can’t have a repeat of last summer, when they signed Vincent Janssen and Moussa Sissoko,” he added.
While Tottenham’s first priority next season will be to keep hold of their best players, they should also consider signing one or two world class players who can make a difference in Europe.
