The Spanish football expert says Real Madrid are not making a move for the player.

Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has been commenting on Real Madrid’s potential interest in the signature of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.

The Mirror recently reported that Los Merengues had made Alli their prime target going forward – after watching the England international’s meteoric rise from League One football to being one of the Premier League’s most feared midfield maestros.

But Balague is certain that no £50 million move for Alli is currently in the works at Real Madrid.

He was speaking to Sky Sports today when he insisted that no deal was in the pipeline for the England international:

“What a potential Dele Alli has!

“He is watched by everybody of course, but Real Madrid, at this point in time, have got no intention to go for him.

“Let’s see how he develops in the next few years but Pochettino has created such an atmosphere at the club that nobody wants to leave.”

This will of course come as good news to Spurs fans, who in the past have seen the likes of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale head to the Spanish capital when Real come calling.

Alli has been in fantastic form recently. He scored twice against Chelsea recently – taking his recent tally to seven goals in seven games.

After a slow start to the season the midfield maestro is now coming good and Spurs fans will believe they have a future star on their hands.
