Leicester City have been linked with a move for former Stoke City midfielder Steven Nzonzi this week.
The French midfielder had an excellent season at Sevilla last term and he is being viewed as another potential replacement for N’Golo Kante – who joined Chelsea this summer.
Now Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has explained how Leicester can get hold of the player, and it won’t be cheap.

“Yes, Leicester want him.
“But, while Sevilla are willing to negotiate with Sunderland for (Vicente) Iborra, they will not for Nzonzi as he is crucial to them.
“So he can only go if Leicester trigger his €30 million (£25.6 million) buy-out clause.”

It has been reported this week that Leicester will be tempted to spend that much on Nzonzi if that is what it takes to bring him to the club – as reported by The Telegraph.
Leicester need extra cover in the midfield for the Champions League campaign they are about to embark upon and Nzonzi proved himself capable at a higher level with Sevilla in La Liga and the Europa League last term.
His signing would certainly be an eye-catching one from Leicester and it would break the club’s transfer record that they only recently smashed to sign Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow earlier this summer.
